What this covers, and what it doesn't
The C5 merges Jamaica's old paper immigration and customs cards into one electronic Passenger Declaration. It has been mandatory for all arriving passengers since 2023, and you complete it on the official portal before you reach the immigration desk.

It is not a visa
The C5 records who you are and what you're bringing; it does not decide whether you may enter. Depending on your nationality you may still need a visa — many visitors, including US, UK and Canadian citizens, don't for short tourism, but that's a separate question the C5 doesn't answer.

Yes. Every passenger arriving in Jamaica must submit a C5 declaration before immigration — visitors and returning residents alike, children included.
What does it cost?

How early can I file it?
Any time up to 30 days before you arrive. Filing a day or two ahead is fine, but don't leave it for the plane — Wi-Fi on board is unreliable.
Is the C5 a visa?
No. It is an arrival declaration for immigration and customs. Whether you need a visa depends on your nationality and is decided separately.
Do children need their own?
Yes. Each traveller needs an individual C5, including infants and children. A parent can complete a child's declaration.
What do I show on arrival?
The confirmation with its QR code. Save it to your phone or print it; airport connectivity can be patchy, so don't rely on loading it live.
